Overview
ACPI StatusIcon is a small program for Ubuntu and other Ubuntu based linux distributions which reads information like the CPU temperature and detailed battery status and displays them when clicking on the icon in the notification area. The battery percentage is displayed directly in the icon when a battery is plugged in.
Depending on the system it is used on ACPI StatusIcon can display the following data:
- CPU temperature
- Fan speed
- CPU speed and governor
- Battery status (multiple batteries supported)
- Percentage
- Time to empty / time to full
- Current rate (power consumption)
- Wear level (percentage of "lost" capacity)
